Don't miss this one of a kind event on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.  Malibu Divers has chartered a dive boat to take us to Santa Catalina Island.

Our boat will do two dive sites and also do a walking tour of our Chamber facilities. Some boats will do the tour first and then dive. Others will do their dives and then come in for the tour.

All participating divers will receive a Chamber Day 2025 t-shirt, ten daytime raffle tickets, and a walking tour of our Chamber facilities, which will include a chance to talk with various rescue and first-responders.

The cost this year is $150 total, which breaks down as $110 going to the event and $40 going back to the boats to cover their costs. Generally boats will leave their respective docks at 7AM and return no later than 3:30PM.

The bottom line in all of this is that your continued support of our Chamber, in whatever form that takes, is essential for our Chamber to remain available and on-watch 24/7/365. This special event is non refundable and limited to 6 total divers.



ALL DIVERS - come prepared with your Freediving certification card (you must have proof of certification), dive equipment (wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, weights), or get your rental gear from us. 

NOTE: Please bring food and snacks for yourself as well as a tip for our Captain if you are happy with the service you receive.

Each diver must bring the following completed forms to check-in.

We will provide further directions once you register. We encourage you to car pool as much as possible.

  1. It's 33ft overall, with a transom stern facing swing door and covered the back with a sun shade (Not pictured) 
  2. License, Insured and equipped with a fully stocked trauma kit with 02.
  3. The lower heated galley has a bed, table, sink, refrigerator, and bathroom.
  4. The boat is equipped with an air compressor - not being used for this trip. Their compressor is tested quarterly for quality and results are posted on the boat. 
  5. We are planning to run this trip as a "freediving" trip. If we do have scuba divers, the boat will provide two steel tank HP 100 for each dive excursion.
