We stand behind everything we sell. If you're not satisfied with your Malibu Divers purchase, you can return it for a replacement or refund or store credit. Malibu Divers guarantee doesn’t cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents.
(Due to US copyright laws, there is no return or exchange for any used educational or video materials, especially, not any eLearning or online programs; sorry for any inconvenience).
New Merchandise:
Return in packaging within 60 days of purchase for full refund or store credit.
Return 60-120 days after purchase for store credit.
Items Bought as Used Merchandise:
Return within 30 days for full store credit.
Return within 60 days of purchase for a 75% store credit.
*Blow-Out, Consignment, Clearance, and Final Sale items - NO REFUNDS, sold "as is".
Limited Warranty
If your item has a manufacturing defect in its materials or workmanship, you can return it at any time. Many of our items also have a separate warranty from the manufacturer, and you can also return any of those items that don’t meet the manufacturer's warranty.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
Returning Items
You can return your purchases from Malibu Divers by mail or at our retail location, regardless of whether you made your purchase online, by phone or in our store. Proof of purchase is required.
Please retain all product packaging and tags until you're completely satisfied with the condition and performance of your purchase. Please return all product packaging and tags with your item.
Mailing Your Return
Include required proof of purchase: order number or purchase number, store receipt, eReceipt, gift receipt, shipping invoice or member purchase history.
Please include name, email address and member number if information does not appear on the proof of purchase.

We can help locate proof of purchase if you used your name for your order. Include a note with the following information:

Reason for the return: Write a brief description. Return code is not required.
Purchases not posted to your contact name are required to provide proof of purchase for all retail transactions.

Malibu Divers is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit.
If merchandise is returned that does not meet conditions of the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, the return will be declined and the merchandise will be returned to you.
All sales are final on Sale items.

Used items must be cleaned prior to return. If you send merchandise that is not cleaned or laundered to the Malibu Divers, your return may be denied and merchandise returned to you.
Mailed Return Refunds
Want to order a replacement item? You can order your replacement item online at MalibuDivers.com or by calling 1-310-456-2396.
You will be charged the purchase price, but once we receive your return, we'll credit you for the cost of the original item.
You will be responsible for shipping costs up front.
When exchanging the same item for a different size or color, place your order by phone and we will match the original purchase price on your exchange, where applicable. Then return your original item for refund.
All retail purchases will be refunded in the form of a check, mailed to the name and address provided (member name and address when no receipt provided).
All online and phone orders will be refunded to the original payment type to the name and address on file.
All online orders with PayPal original tender will be refunded to the PayPal account by mailed in return only. PayPal original tender orders returned to a retail location will be refunded in an alternate tender.
All gifts refunded to gift recipient will be issued a check to the address and recipient name provided.
Include your replacement order number with your return and we will refund all standard shipping charges paid on your replacement order. Sorry, we do not refund expedited shipping charges unless item returned is determined to be defective after inspection.
Malibu Divers Sale Merchandise Policy
Malibu Divers Sales are events where we sell merchandise “as is.” All sales are final on items purchased at Malibu Divers Sales at our retail locations.
If a customer sends Malibu Divers Sale merchandise to us for a return or exchange, it will be returned to the customer.
How do I return items purchased that were Used or rental items? What is the return policy that covers those products?
Malibu Divers Used Gear returns are only permitted in connection with the 30-day satisfaction guarantee of that program. To return an item within 30 days under the Malibu Divers Used or rental satisfaction guarantee, call or email us first. You’ll need your order number and the last name associated with your order. This information can be found in your order confirmation email.
After you submit your return request, you’ll receive a return authorization email. Please print out the email and include it in the package you send to us. We recommend shipping your package using a carrier that can provide tracking information and insurance.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods, and intimate or sanitary goods accept products that are non returnable.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
