Discover Local Diving, DLD - Checkout Dive (Ocean)
Certified divers looking to enjoy some of the best diving in the world can participate in Discover Local Diving (DLD) under the guidance of Malibu Divers professional. Night divers must make a daytime dive first.
Takes about 1.5 hours in total.
No gear is required. However, you should bring your snorkel (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves) gear if you have it. Also bring any other gear (dive computer) if you have that as well.
We will schedule a session with you that fits your schedule. Usually, we do an evening briefing after dinner on the day of arrival for about 30-45 minutes.
Sessions offered after breakfast and after lunch. All dives for certified divers are guided by our Pros'. Night diving is available for certified divers. You may however, add a night snorkel after this program if you prefer or more dives or additional training.
Minimum age: 12 years old
Pre-requisite: proof of being a Certified diver, PADI Medical release signed by physician if you have any YES responses, and parent/guardian signed release.
Note: you must already be registered to attend UCSD Camp weekend.
