Rugged Scuba Diver

Open Water Certification

5 Day Certification Training

Interested in diving anywhere in the world? Then successful completion of Rugged Scuba will give scouts a lifetime certification issued by PADI, the largest and best-known training agency in the world today. This program involves five full days of training beginning when you arrive at camp and ending on Friday. The online home study of 12-18 hours (average is 8 to 12 hrs.) must be completed before coming to camp (scouts will not be allowed to participate in the program if this work is not done!).

Notes

. We use PADI's eLearning system where all home study, quizzes and exams will be completed on-line by participants prior to coming to camp. PADI eLearning will not work on iPads, iPhones, or iPods.

. Please do not register for eLearning without your access codes as no credits will be issued!

.  Each Rugged S participant should anticipate being with us full-time from just after breakfast, (lunch break) and then until just before dinner, Monday through Thursday. Friday will likely be a shorter day. There will also be one session at the end of the week devoted to the Scuba Merit Badge class.
