Referral is an option to start your SCUBA training at Malibu Divers and complete it at another PADI dive center anywhere in the world.

Takes about 2 days, one weekend. Complete your academics online with eLearning in about 8-12 hours.

Includes your eLearning, enhancement pak, academic review and training in our heated pool.

Note: You cannot start the pool session before finishing your eLearning.  Does not include your 4 Open Water dives at your final destination or you may decide to finish with Malibu Divers at no penalty in upgrading to one or our inclusive packages.
Pre-requisite: minimum of 10 years old, and in good health.
Note: 10- and 11-year-old divers - ocean dives have to be done privately for dives 3 and 4 and/or if more than 4 divers in the group for any ocean dive; there will be additional fees.

Weekend Open Water Class & Pool Schedule - times may vary based on your progress and any last minute pool changes.

• Saturday 7:30 am to 4 pm
• Sunday 11 am to 4 pm 

As a certified diver, you want to be ready to dive safely, confidently and comfortably.

• the diver's name, date of birth, cert level, cert agency, date of last dive
• what gear (height, weight, shoe size) you will need or are brining
• what times you are potentially available in your booking.

Also - your email will be sent a confirmation and your online access code to start your program; if you or someone else is taking the course, provide their contact information as well.

Includes eLearning program, academic review, review of your gear (not serviced) and dive skills. We keep our regular groups small for your enjoyment and safety. If you need one on one or private training, please let us know.

As a certified diver, you want to be ready to dive safely, confidently and comfortably.  Our dive guides are familiar with the best spots in Malibu and will choose a spot based on the information you provide and the ocean conditions on that day. Your safety and enjoyment are our priority!

Takes about 2-3 hours in total.  No gear required (sizes limited) but if you have gear you should bring it if possible. We recommend mask, snorkel and dive computer if you have them and any other item that is particularly suited fitted to you.

NOTE: No travel expenses are included for you nor a Pro. We do offer beach, boat and Catalina Island shore dive alternatives during weekend's when we have space and availability. Private training is not included with this program.

Includes eLearning program, academic review, gear review and dive skills and rental gear (subject to size /availability). Does not include Dive Guide gratutities nor parking fees for the Dive Guide if we dive at location that has parking fees. You will be responsible for the Pro's parking fees.
