This Open Water training option includes two days of diving at the Avalon Dive Park on Catalina Island. Round trip ferry transportation, rental gear and 2-night, double occupancy hotel room on the island are included. You will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the island while not diving.
Note: A two-night (Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday) hotel minimum is included in the fee. Peak hotel rates are March 1 through November 30.
Pre-requisite: minimum of 10 years old, and in good health.
Note: 10- and 11-year-old divers - ocean dives have to be done privately for dives 3 and 4 and/or if more than 4 divers in the group for any ocean dive; there will be additional fees.

This package includes: eLearning (online, interactive & video) academic training, your enhancement pak (training logbook, eRDPml - dive calculator) and your certification card. It also includes all of your rental of SCUBA gear for training at the pool (one weekend, ~10 hours) and your one day of boat diving to one of the Channel Islands and one day of Malibu beach diving. You will be required to carry your scuba gear across the sand and through the surf zone for the beach dives. Boat fees are included in this package.

If you're ready to learn to dive, our Pro will get you ready.

It also includes all of your training at your pool (usually over 2 days, ~10 hours) and two days of ocean diving. Boat, travel, lodging fees etc. are not included in this package.
Pick a day you want to start your training, and in the notes please indicate the date you need to be completed and any other relevant information.
