This is another option to finish your advanced ocean dives. It includes the ferry to and from the island, overnight hotel (dbl occ) accommodations, rental SCUBA gear and tank & air fills, and two days dive training at the underwater marine park (Casino Point) in Avalon on Catalina Island.
On the second day, you get a better opportunity to see even more of the underwater marine park.
Note: Two-night (Sat & Sun) hotel minimum during May to Sept is included. You will be sharing a room (dbl occ); single occupancy may be available at an additional fee.

Complete your PADI Advanced Open Water (AOW) with one day at the beach for two dives and one day on a local ferry boat to Santa Catalina Island for three dives. The ferry will depart from the Long Beach area to Catalina Island. This AOW ocean diving option involves you being comfortable with beach surf entries/exits and carrying scuba gear a distance on the sand for the beach dive.
This package includes: PADI eLearning (online, interactive & video) academic training, your enhancement pak (PADI SMB) and your PADI Advanced Open Water certification card. It also includes your one day of Catalina Island diving from shore and one day of Malibu beach diving. You will be required to carry your scuba gear across the sand and through the surf zone for the beach dives. Catalina Island ferry, cylinder & weights rental fees are included in this package.

2) Date listed is for your AOW course which is typically conducted Saturday and Sunday; however. there maybe an option for Sunday and Monday depending on if any of our Open Water students on the same weekend choose to stay over to upgrade to AOW on Sunday and Monday. Your Catalina camp weekend package is all inclusive with your academics using PADI Advanced Open Water, AOW eLearning, and 2 days diving at Catalina Island. We also include your ferry transportation round trip to Camp, tank rental and air fills for your 4 training dives. It's like being on vacation, SCUBA style! You'll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the island or even optionally upgrade to include more diving. This is a special opportunity to experience mini retreat and get certified in a very unique location that we have the opportunity to share with the public.

This one day Adventure Diver course takes you one step closer to Advanced Open Water Diver with 3 training dives. This certification uses the same classroom training materials as the Advanced Open Water certification and a brief quick quiz.

We only offer PADI Advanced Open Water eLearning for your learning the dive theory or academic portion of your the program; this way you can finish the class portion on your own pace and in your own free time, and you don't have to drive and come to the classroom for several days.
On your Ocean dive days, you will spend some time with your instructor before each dive, to answer all of your questions and concerns. We'll also do a brief review to test your knowledge. Then you're into the ocean to put that knowledge into practice!
You can purchase the eLearning for now then come back to pick the dates for your open water ocean dive sessions. Currently there is one one option available for eLearning Online, for Windows & OS X Computers: uses FLASH.
